Odalys Ulloa, Office Manager

In charge of supervising office staff and compliance as well as payroll, bookkeeping, benefits, and all agency administrative services. Ms. Ulloa joined the New England Financial Miami Agency in July of 2006 as an Operations Manager. She is responsible for management of overall office operations and the accounting. She comes to NEF with 22 years of managerial experience in banking with Coral Gables Federal, First Union and Wachovia. Odalys was born in Las Villas, Cuba and raised in Miami, FL.

Arlene Hernandez, Administrative Assistant to Investment Specialist

Assistant to the Investment Specialist and in charge of Contracting and Licensing of new agents. Arlene joined NEF in May of 2006 after working at the University of Miami, School of Medicine for 3 years. She is currently attending Miami Dade College. Arlene was born in Miami, Florida and has lived here her whole life.

Sheila Rios, New Business Analyst

In charge of all New Business processing and payment of initial premiums and policy holder servicing. Sheila joined New England Financial in July of 2006 as the New Business Analyst for the Miami Agency. She handles the agency’s Life, Disability, Long Term Care, and Annuity new business. She comes to NEF with 3 years of new business experience at National Life of Vermont and 5 years of banking experience at First Union and Wachovia. She holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration with a Major in Finance from Florida International University, which she obtained in December 2001.

 

Ivy Portillo, Marketing Specialist

Collaborates with the Firm's Management Team to develop marketing plans and strategies that supports the agency's business plan initiatives. Ivy Portillo joined New England Financial in April 2008 with over 10 years of client service experience. Prior to joining the NEF Miami Team, she was Project Manager at BBDO New York. Previous experience includes; Office Manager at NYU Medical Center, Merchandise Coordinator (Orgins Brand) at Estee Lauder Corporate Office and Events Management. 

 

Pamela Mayorga, General Office Assistant

Responsible for all incoming calls, mail distribution, filing, light typing, and administrative support. Pamela Mayorga joined New England Financial after working with a market research company for five years. She provides the agency an enthusiastic attitude towards clients, vendors, and representatives upon arrival. Her multi-tasking ability enables her to assist office management as required by sorting incoming and outgoing mail, faxing, copying, ordering office supplies, ect.
